On Saturday September 1st the election to the committe of CgoA took place. The candidates got following amounts of votes:

2. Miloš Podpěra - 67 votes
3. Martin Kovařík - 62 votes
4. Radek Nechanický - 56 votes
5. Tomáš Grosser - 52 votes
6. Ondřej Jurásek - 49 votes
7. Václav Kijonka - 46 votes
8. Marie Šimková - 35 votes
9. Jindřich Dvořáček - 28 votes
10. Martin Chrz - 13 votes
The first seven candidates became the members of the committee. Together 80 members of CGoA voted. All electoral votes were applicable.
Korean Cho Seok-bin became the winner of the tournament in Brno, which is classified as a part of the prestigious European tournaments Pandanet Go European Cup. Although, according to the previous tournamets, many strong players took part in this tournament, Cho did not find any conqueror.
The Czech representative Martin Jurek became the student vice-master of Europe on the European Student Go Championship that took place from Monday to Wednesday in Stockholm. He was defeated only in the fourth round by the winner Benjamin Papazoglou from France. In the end of the tournament the difference between them was only one SOS, because Papazoglou lost in the last round with Merlinj Kuin from the Netherlands who ended the third.
