Jan Hora became the Master of the Czech Republic

In the last and also the crucial game of the Czech Championship, which took place from Tuesday 30th October to Sunday 4th November in Frýdek-Místek, he defeated Radek Nechanický from Nymburk, who became the second. The third was Vladimír Daněk from Prague.

Ondřej Šilt dominated in Deskohraní in Prague

Ondřej Šilt Ondřej Šilt (in the picture) became the winner of the autumn tournament in Prague, that took place on 29th and 30th September 2007 as a part of the 7th year of the international festival of games – Deskohraní (Boardplaying). In one of the last checkups before the home championship the acting master of the republic did not loose a single game and showed, that he is in a good state a month before the peak of the czech tournament season.

Czechs won the open championship of school teams in Germany

Hans Pietsch The Czech team consisting of Ondřej Kruml, Lukáš Podpěra and Anička Podpěrová (with captain Jana Hricová) won the open championship of school teams in Germany – Hans Pietsch Memorial that took place during 22nd - 23rd September 2007 in Hamburg. The Czech team was the only one not to lose a single match and that both in the primary group of sixteen members and in the final which was played by four most successful teams playing each one with each other. Ondřej Kruml and Lukáš Podpěra even won all their games.
