Vladimír Daněk won the tournament in Frýdek- Místek

The list of players for this year's republic championship is getting fuller. Next players for it were decided in Frýdek-Místek, where the second of three qualification tournaments fo the championship took place. The championship will be also the qualification for the World Mind Sports Games in Beijing.

During the past time it was not a secret, that Vladimír Daněk would like to fly to China. He showed this intense on goban and won without any losses. He defeated both Jan Šimara and Radek Nechanický. Both of them lost with him and so with their four points and were at the second and the third place.

The fourth was Ondřej Kruml, who should better get points for the qualification for the Polish Championship more than to the Czech one. With Czech players he finished 0:2, with Polich players 3:0. Jakub Mírka is the fifth and can be satisfied with this result. After him ended Vít Brunner, Ivan Kostka, Petr Cipra and Martin Kužela.

As it was indicated in the beginning, after the tournament in Frýdek-Místek the number of people, who are definitely going to take part at the Cahmpionship of the republic, has been extended. Except for Jan Hora and the winner of the first qualification in Ostrava Radek Nechanický, also Vladimír Daněk and Jan Šimra can start to practice. The same thing can be said about Ondřej Kruml, who is also very likely to take part at the Championship. Also Zbyněk Dach has almost sure participation, especially if he is going to play in Nymburk and get a few points, which should not be any problem with his strength.

On the contrary, a tough fight is awaited for the last four places. Czech number one Ondřej Šilt is now without any points. The first two qualification tournaments were not lucky for Ivan Kostka who would like to fly to China. Also Petr Cipra will probably try to reach as good result as possible in Nymburk. There are also other strong players without any or with few points: Vít Brunner, Jan Prokop, Martin Jurek, Martin Kužela či David Holeček. Also Jakuba Mírka and Bronislav Snídal might fight for a place for China.
